Welcome to the PhysiVet website!

PhysiVet provides veterinary physiotherapy and veterinary nursing services to help your pet live a happy and healthy life.

ABOUT

My name is Sara Nordstrom. I am a qualified veterinary nurse and veterinary physiotherapist with 10 years experience in the veterinary industry.
Growing up I lived in different countries and have worked in small animal veterinary practices in both Sweden and England. When I was young I found a love for horses and show jumping which led me to compete in different countries. The experiences of meeting new people and getting the opportunity to work with animals gave me a better understanding and knowledge in the veterinary industry as well as the opportunity to provide the best care possible for our beloved pets.
I have worked in small animal practices and have cared for animals of all sizes and ages with different conditions and injuries. My experience as a registered veterinary nurse in combination with my veterinary physiotherapy qualification has allowed me to adapt and customize my treatments to enhance quality of life for each individual.
I am fully insured and am on the register of Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS).

Animals cared for or treated by a musculoskeletal therapist such as a veterinary physiotherapist must be registered with a veterinary surgeon. As per the Veterinary Surgeons (Exemptions) Order 2015, remedial treatment by physiotherapy requires delegation by a veterinary surgeon who has first examined the animal.  The Code of Professional Conduct state that healthy animals do not require a veterinary referral for maintenance care. Maintenance will cease if any there are any signs of new underlying injury, disease or pathology. The veterinary surgeon may be contacted at any time during treatment to inform them of findings and treatment.
